Forced prostitution in Bangladesh
In Bangladesh, a 95% Muslim country, prostitution is legal and recognised by the Supreme Court. Throughout the country, hundreds of brothels house very young sex workers. Sold and trafficked, they work in disastrous conditions for just a few euros a day. I was able to enter two of the world's largest legal brothels, in Daulatdia and Tangail. On site, I met teenage girls, exploited and terrified at the idea of ending their days here.
