Shootings, human trafficking and other violations of the law are common things in the Mediterranean Sea to repel migrants trying to reach Europe. This raises questions about the very notion of borders. Europeans usually criticize the wall wanted by Trump or the one built between Israel and Palestine. But our more fluid and minimal borders aren’t they also more lethal and insidious ?
